How to arrive
The only way to get to the Elaphite Islands is by boat. Arrival by car is not possible, because there is no car ferry, but on the Islands of Lopud and Koločep motor vehicles are not allowed.
The easiest way to get to the Elaphite Islands is from Dubrovnik, by Jadrolinija’s boat called Postira. The boat departs from the Port of Dubrovnik and the ride takes about 20 minutes to Koločep, 50 mines to Lopud, and about 1 hour to Šipan. Postira runs in the summer months, 4 times a day connecting Dubrovnik to Elaphite Islands. On Sundays and holidays it runs twice.
The ticket for one direction is from 2 to 4 euros, depends on which island you are going. and it can be purchased at the port of Gruž in Dubrovnik in the Jadrolinija’s office, and on Elaphite Islands it can be purchased at a tourist offices located near the port.
